Best known for his outstanding performance and victory at the scandinavian freestyle championship in 2001, Petter a.k.a. Professor P is leaving another mark in danish and swedish rap.

He was only sixteen when he got his first standing ovation from a crowd of 2500 people, now, almost four years later he has matured and improved. There has been alot of pressure involved with coming back after years of working on his lab.

But rest asure, not that much has changed, the things that have though has definetly been for the better, at least compared to his appearence on the “Fight Night All Stars” album wich was released in 2003.

In 2005 his long awaited and posponed debut is finally hitting the streets, hitting it hard in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Itīs been a long ride, but now, after a year of recording, re- recordings, adding and scrapping of tracks, we finally have six carefully selected songs for the “Gone For A While” ep.

Originally the title was “Go Insane”, but after maturing he has digged into his heart in search for inspiration, he decided to record another track, exploring a deeper and more meaningful side of his lyrical repotoire, this became the new title track for the ep.

Gone for a while is dedicated to the memory of his grandfather that was taken from his family by cancer in 1998.

In this paticular track “P” talks to all of us who has lost someone we love, about the painfull reality of this sensitive subject, and tells a sencire and earthbound story about the tragedy of death, and the effects it has on every day life and family relations.

Even though “Go Insane” was a dope track, looking back now, we couldnīt be happier that he choose to add the depth and credibility to the ep, that “Gone for a while” does.

The EP is produced by Swedens “Filthy”, a gifted producer that we can only hope to see more of in the future. A single track is produced by DJ Swab, “Simple and Plain” wich features ALX.

Other featured artists on the EP includes Lucy Loves vocals on “She had it all”, and DJ Graded on the intro cuts.

The EP will hit the stores in the spring of 2005, and is expected to move fast, so hurry up and buy! Donīt forget to be on the lookout for the limited vinyl edition of the ep, with bonus material for the djīs and vinyl lovers.
